AKB48’s new variety show AKBingo began last week in it’s new Wednesday late night slot. Not much different from Oji59fun: same presenters, same theme tune (Aitakatta), same studio. I’m not complaining as I enjoyed Oji59fun so if they stick to the same format and tinker with it a little bit I’ll be happy but I would like to see more outside segments.
Also I took a look at Morning Musume’s daily new short 4 minute TV show Yorosen. I was curious more than anything to see if this would be a big improvement on the crappy HM@. Well if the first 2 episodes are any indication of this the answer is a big fat no. It’s so boring and set in a classroom. The girls look great in their school uniform but it’s so dull. Don’t know why I bothered but I won’t be watching anymore that’s for certain.
