Yes, I know that I still haven’t gotten round to continuing my Top 10 Japanese movies. I’ll get onto it eventually but it may be some time.
Anyway, here’s some of the latest movies I’ve seen with trailers included (some have Japanese language only I’m afraid):
Noriko’s Dinner Table (Suicide Club 2)
Exte (Hair Extensions)
Strange Circus – be warned that this movie is disturbing and sick. The storyline deals with issues such as incest. Not for the easily offended.
Tokyo Boy – this movie is about a girl with a split personality (one where she thinks she’s female and the other a male).
One Missed Call Final – the 3rd in the trilogy finds a bullied schoolgirl (Maki Horikita) taking revenge on her classmates whilst they’re on a cruise to South Korea.
Yamato – movie about the greatest battleship in World War 2 and the young crew aboard her.
Wild Zero – crazy zombie rock n roll horror
Honey & Clover – lives and loves of 5 university art students
