I don’t know about you lot but I’m eagerly awaiting the release of Namie Amuro’s brand new album Past < Future which comes out on December 16th. This album (her 8th) will have 12 tracks. The only recongnisable tracks I’ve noticed is Wild/Dr which was released earlier on this year as a double A-side. If you buy the CD/DVD version of the album you’ll get 6 PV’s on the DVD. On Youtube the 3 PV’s to accompany the songs Love Game, The Meaning Of Us and Fast Car have been put up. I can’t find the one for Defend Love. I’m not sure how long they’re likely to stay there seeing as AVEX have a habit of pulling videos from the site. My personal favorite is Fast Car. Namie looks sensational in the PV in her various outfits.

And 9 Became 8….Koharu Graduates From Momusu
7 12 2009“It’s the end…but the moment has been prepared for” (quote from the Dr Who story Logopolis)
Yesterday was an emotional day for Morning Musume fans as Koharu Kusumi graduated from the idol group and left for pastures new to become a model. As I’ve said before, her graduation really doesn’t affect me that much as I’ve never been a big fan of Koharu. From reading the accounts of people that were at the concert it was a good send off full of the usual tears and laughter we’ve come to expect from this kind of event. Good luck to you Koharu. For all the fans mourning her departure, there’s always Oha Star to watch. She’ll continue to be on that for the foreseeable future so it’s not like she’s disappearing from our screens for good.

AKB48 To Star In Their Own Drama
3 12 2009Mark your calendars down for Friday January 8th on the TV Tokyo channel at 12.12am as this will be the start date for AKB48′s new drama series called “Majisuka Gakuen” which has been written by their producer Yasushi Akimoto. This will be the same timeslot as “Men Dol” when it aired in 2008.
The lead role goes to Acchan but all members are expected to appear in the drama which is based around teenage yankees or delinquents. We could even see some SKE48 and SDN48 members in it too. You can check out the official website of the drama: http://www.tv-tokyo.co.jp/majisuka/ . I can’t wait to see this drama. Roll on January 8th.

Buono – Bravo ☆ Bravo PV
2 12 2009Here comes Buono’s 9th major single called Bravo Bravo which comes out on December 16th. It might grow on me but it’s a step down in my opinion from their last song Take It Easy which I liked a lot. The song is the 9th ending theme to the anime Shugo Chara!
