NMB48 finally made their first public appearance at an AKB48 event today in Tokyo. The squad that did have 39 members after the auditions has been further cut now to 26 members. The lucky 26 will be the first generation of NMB48. Their ages range from 12 to 18 so they’re a very young group. Teams have not been assigned yet as the 26 are still undergoing training before they start their job proper as an idol. It’s still not known yet where in Namba, Osaka the group will perform. They’re expected to start performing early next year.
