Takamina has made an appearance in the PV for American born pop singer JAMIL’s new single “The Rock City Boy”. JAMIL is a big fan of AKB48 and he wanted Takamina to star in the PV for the song. This is the 1st time for Takamina to appear in any PV other than her own.
The plot of the PV has JAMIL coming over to Japan where Takamina keeps popping up as a cabin attendant, a shrine maiden and a schoolgirl. Naturally JAMIL is bowled over by her beauty.

You’ve seen the previews for AKB48′s new single now watch the PV. Obviously it’s not the full 18 minute version (you’ll have to wait until you buy the CD to see the whole epic) so this is the shorter 4 minute version.

It’s not supposed to start airing until next Monday but somehow the new CM for Heart Bras starring Yuko, Kojima and Chiyuu has been uploaded onto Youtube. It’s only a short 15 second CM with Flying Get as the background music and they want people to ‘touch my heart’.
Peach John said they chose the 3 AKB48 members as they best embodied the message of the collection which is to give Japanese women full energy and fulfill their happiness with the bra. First I’ve heard of bras giving women full energy! I’d understand if they said it gave women confidence but energy!

2 prominent AKB48 members featured heavily in a Top 3 poll held by Recochoku in which they asked it’s users which female artist looks best in swimwear.

Comments made why Yuko looked so good ranged from “She is bright and cheerful, like the summer sun,” “She has exceptional style,” and “Her figure suits swimwear in her PVs, magazines, and photobooks.” I think those comments say it all really but I’m dismayed that Yukirin who always looks good in swimwear wasn’t in the Top 3. Many would probably say that Kojima should be down on this list too.
