NMB48 2nd Single Details Announced

The covers and tracklisting for NMB48′s 2nd single which will be released on the 19th October have been announced. The leading track is called Oh My God! There’ll be 4 versions coming out (Type A, B & C plus a Theater one). Each version barring the Theater version will have a DVD as well.

AKB48 2012 Calendar Details

Details of next year’s members calendars have now started to appear on HMV Japan.

From my understanding each AKB48 member will get their own one page B2 size yearly calendar which will include weekly stickers of the other members e.g if you buy Acchan’s calendar you’ll get weekly stickers for the rest of the group.

There’s also a small senbatsu Tokyo Date calendar (30cm x 30cm) which can be mounted on a wall or placed on a desktop. The members that you can buy for this calendar are:

That’s not all as there’s a mention of a calendar box coming out which will contain a bi-monthly calendar with 12 clearfiles and other gifts.

The large B2 calendar will retail for 980 yen whilst the smaller calendar is more expensive (as they’re senbatsu members) at 1980 yen.

The only problem I have now is what to buy? I will definitely buy Yuko’s Tokyo Date calendar but as for the large B2 one I might go for 2 or 3 of them (Sasshi, Yuko and maybe Yukirin).

Rena Matsui To Star In New Mobile Drama

Starting on October 1st, SKE48′s Rena Matsui will be starring in Bee TV’s new mobile drama “Oshare ni Koi Shita Cinderella ~Okarie ga Yumi wo Kanaeru Made”.

Rena undergoes a huge transformation from her usual self to play ‘gyaru’ blogger Okarie – a real person whose name of Rie Okamoto. I hardly recognised Rena in the picture above. I haven’t got a clue what the plot is all about but there is some comedy as Rena herself admitted that she was embarrased to do some comical acting. It’s good for Rena to do something like this – fans naturally will think of her as Gekikara for years as she played that role so well but acting as somebody so completely different from Gekikara will show everybody how diverse she can be in her acting. Personally I think Rena could be a fine actress if she wanted to go down that line in the future.
