Encore:

Lost the Way – DiVA
Mujin-eki – Wasamin
Flying Get – all members

There was a couple of surprises in the concert today. The first is that DiVA will release Lost the Way as a single on March 7th. I’m questioning why Nogizaka46 was invited to perform the opening number. I know that Aki-P is behind them and everything but aren’t they supposed to be bitter rivals of AKB48! They’re not a part of the 000 family so why have them here at all? I’m sure the audience today was surprised to see them show up. They didn’t boo them contrary to what you might think but gave them quite a nice reception. Some of them were so surprised at this reaction that they began to cry during the small MC after their performance. The other talking point of this concert was seeing 10th gen kenkyuusei member Rena Kato perform First Love. This much loved song was first performed by Erepyon before Mayuyu took over last year so why did they change who sang it again? I thought Mayuyu nailed the song. Perhaps Kato is the next kenkyuusei member that’s going to receive a big push? We’ll see soon whether this is true or not.

Check back tomorrow as the countdown goes down from 75 – 51.

BTW: Sunday’s concert which has the countdown from 25 – 1 will be screened live on Youtube via Google+ if you want to set your clocks for that. It kicks off at 18:00 JST. Will Heavy Rotation be at no.1 again……..I wouldn’t bet against it.
