Chance no Junban 1st Day Sales

The figures are in for the first day sales of Chance no Junban and I can confirm the single sold 471,242 which whilst down on Beginner’ sales is still fantastic considering that the majority of the normal senbatsu girls doesn’t even feature on the main song. In fact it’s the best opening day sales after Beginner – even better than Heavy Rotation. So a big congratulations go out to everybody involved. I think this shows  that it doesn’t matter anymore who fronts the main song on their single – it will still sell big anyway. What are the chances of 600k or more being sold during the entire 1st week?

Check back later for the 1st day figures for AKB48’s Chance no Juban. Mid-day numbers suggest this is going to be way down on Beginner and Heavy Rotation but I’m hoping this will be proved wrong.

Tomochin Models Some Wedding Dresses

Japanese actor and model Kanda Uno produced a fashion show that was held yesterday for some newly designed wedding dresses. Guest modelling some of the wedding dresses was none other than AKB48 fashion icon Tomomi Itano.

She paraded around in 3 different dresses and remarked to reporters that she wants to get married when she’s around 30 years old to a man that’s as kind as her father.
